How to Get to the Botanical Garden

By foot from the main station:

The Botanical Garden at the Poppelsdorfer Schloss can be reached via Poppelsdorfer Allee from the main station of Bonn within 15 to 20 minutes walking distance.

 

By car (see the map):

By car it’s best to take the junction Bonn-Poppelsdorf and follow the labelling to "Poppelsdorfer Schloss". Parking spaces can be found near the cropgarden in the Carl-Troll-Straße and around Poppelsdorfer Schloss.

 

If you come by car, please note, that the area around the botanical garden is an environmental zone (Umweltzone). That encludes the garden as well as all possibilities to park you cars. You will need the necessary windowscreen stickers to be allowed to drive and park in that area.

public transport:

The Botanical Garden can be reached by the buslines 601(timetable), 602 (timetable), 603 (timetable) from the busterminal (in front of the main station). Get oft the bus at the station „Am Botanischen Garten“. Further information can be found here or here.
